Day 1: San Jose Arrival (D)
On arrival, meet and greet at San Jose Airport. Private transfer to hotel.

Day 2: San Jose-La Fortuna-Arenal Volcano Sky Tram Tour (B/ L/ D)
Early departure along the Pan American highway towards La Fortuna and The Arenal Volcano. Typical lunch at La Choza del Laurel Restaurant.
In the afternoon we visit the nearby Sky-Tram and board one of the open gondolas. Fly quietly and slowly through the tree-tops of the rainforest. The rainforest canopy is home to nearly 80 percent of all tropical flora and fauna. A short walk through the jungle and return on the cable car back to the main-entrance. Optional Sky Trek zip-lines U$20 person for those of you who are “wild-at-heart” glide like a bat from treetop to treetop and from platform to platform-using pulleys and harnesses on horizontal cables extending over one-km in length. Treetop platforms elevated to 400 feet in the air and networks of canopy bridges provide a unique way to enjoy nature. Welcome dinner.

Day 3: Sarapiqui River Tour (B/ L/ D)
Early departure towards the Sarapiqui River. Today we have planned an easy river rafting trip. Look for wildlife and enjoy the sounds of nature. For those of your looking for an adrenaline rush, we invite you to navigate the cat III rapids.
Lunch en-route. We return to the hotel in the afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Optional Volcano Sunset Tour. Price U$35 per per person.
15:30 Pick-up from the hotel lobby for Guided Lava-flow-sunset excursion. If you’ve never experienced them firsthand, the sights and sounds of an active volcano are awe-inspiring. Arenal is one of the world’s most regularly active volcanoes. Watch red lava rocks tumble down the flanks of Arenal Volcano, and listen to its deep rumbling. Come on a short hike through the lush rain-forest accompanied by our naturalist guide.

Day 4: Tabacon Thermal Springs (B/ L/ D)
Today we visit the world-renowned Tabacón Thermal Springs and Grand Spa. Your full day admission includes lunch and buffet dinner.

Visit this natural paradise for a comforting and refreshing bath in the hot springs. Enjoy the beauty and soothing feeling of Tabacon’s mineral hot springs, waterfalls, twelve mineral pools and outdoor Jacuzzi. Each pool varies in temperature and depth, and some vary in mineral count.

Day 5: Arenal Hanging Bridges (B/ L/ D)
Today we explore nature on the Arena hanging bridges trail. We then proceed to San Jose for a panoramic city tour visit the central square and the theater. Transfer to a Chinese restaurant for dinner.

Day 6: Punta Arenas Tortuga Island Beach Tour (B/ L)
Early departure to the pacific port of  Punta Arenas and stop en-route for “Gallo Pinto” a typical Costa Rican breakfast. This is also an excellent opportunity to view coffee and sugar plantations along the way. Upon arrival in Puntarenas we embark on a deluxe-catamaran and enjoy a day on the beach. We navigate on board Calypso’s 71-foot, state-of-the-art catamaran. Sit in one of the fresh water deck pools or lie on one of the giant nets overlooking the ocean while cruising the calm waters of the Gulf of Nicoya on your way to the beautiful white sand palm studded beach of Tortuga Island.

The vessel has fresh water showers and a full bar featuring delicious Piña Coladas made with fresh pineapple. The spacious main salon combines with an expansive deck area which includes two-deck pools, offering luxury cruising. We navigate on the Gulf of Nicoya towards Tortuga Island passing by the islands of San Lucas, Gypsy, Sugar Loaf, Guayabo, Jesusita, Cedros and Negritos. Tortuga Island is known for its immaculate white sandy beaches and turquoise waters, a perfect stop for safe swimming, snorkeling and to enjoy a delicious beach lunch. We return to San Jose late in the afternoon.

Day 7: San Jose Departure (B)
Private transfer to San Jose Airport. Departure.
